Appointment to the RICS President’s Panel of Dispute Resolvers

Stephen Jefferies of Sanderson Weatherall has been appointed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors to the President’s Panel of Dispute Resolvers.

The only surveyor to be appointed to the panel on this occasion in Yorkshire and the North East, Stephen’s selection highlights his long experience in rent review and lease renewal work and recognises his market knowledge across the region.

Stephen, who has substantial experience as an Independent Expert for the panel, has now been approved for arbitration work and where appointed as Arbitrator will prepare awards to resolve rent review disputes and lease renewal terms (via PACT) where the parties concerned have been unable to settle these by negotiation.

Stephen commented:

“I was very pleased to be invited to attend the RICS Arbitrator Training Course and to have successfully passed the assignments and assessment interview leading to my approval for the President’s Panel and look forward to dealing with any appointments I may receive in this important role”.

Including this recent appointment, Sanderson Weatherall now has four Chartered Surveyors on this prestigious panel in Yorkshire and the North East, more than any other firm in the region.
