Legal firm, Last Cawthra Feather has moved into new Leeds premises on the back of rapid growth. The firm of solicitors, long established in the West Yorkshire area, also have offices in Bradford, Shipley and Ilkley, and have signed a 5 year lease on the 3000 sq ft property based on the Leeds embankment.
The new offices have been in response to increased business turnover for the firm who has experienced triple figure growth over the last two years. Amongst other things the new offices will provide enhanced client facilities enabling Last Cawthra Feather to provide a better, more efficient service.
Simon Stell Managing Partner of Last Cawthra Feather comments, “Growth in the firm has necessitated new, larger premises and the property not only provides us with a good deal more space but it also boasts a more central location than our current offices which will be a benefit for our clients.”
The solicitors firm, which has been practising in West Yorkshire for several years, opened its first office in Bradford in 1988 and has increased in size consistently ever since. Recently the company has experienced most growth in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Private Client (Inheritance planning, Trusts and Probate) and Corporate/Commercial law.
Glenn Levison at Sanderson Weatherall who advised Last Cawthra Feather said; “This move to prestigious new offices demonstrates confidence in the market and highlights that Leeds remains a strong legal and professional centre.
“Indeed we are seeing an increase in the level of enquiries from mid-sized firms as well as one or two of the larger occupiers now starting to review their property strategies which is leading to an increase in the level of activity.”
Last Cawthra Feather relocated to the new premises on May 31st 2011.
