Sanderson Weatherall LLP unveil comprehensive property service for Nisa members

Sanderson Weatherall LLP, the national independent practice of chartered surveyors and property consultants has agreed a ground-breaking national property service for Nisa, the independent retail group.

The group, which has over 1,080 registered shareholders, operating over 4,000 stores, of which 900 are trading under the Nisa fascia, has chosen Sanderson Weatherall to provide comprehensive property advice and services to its members. Information regarding acquisitions, business rates, property valuations, landlord and tenant advice and assistance with disposals will be available for all members.

Nisa members will also benefit from Sanderson Weatherall’s property expertise in the food retail sector along with the firm’s commitment to providing a partner led service.

David Rastrick, partner at Sanderson Weatherall said, “We are delighted to be able to roll out this property offering for Nisa members nationwide.

“This function will provide members with a convenient, trusted source of property information. It will also relieve them of some of the on-going complexities associated with the management of commercial premises whilst also making valuable cost savings.”

The move highlights the commitment from Nisa to provide the strongest retailer support package to its members.

John Heagney, Nisa group symbol director, commented: “Nisa works extremely hard to ensure it provides its members with a strong comprehensive service covering all aspects of independent retailing. Therefore we are extremely pleased to be working with Sanderson Weatherall on this new property advice service, a first for our sector.”

Sanderson Weatherall LLP operates nationwide and has offices in Leeds, London, Newcastle upon Tyne, Manchester, Teesside and Bristol and provides a comprehensive range of property services. Having opened a Bristol office earlier this year the firm has ambitious plans for growth and expects to add a Birmingham address in the near future.
